About the Event
The Max Liebenberg trio is a multinational ensemble that plays a selection of jazz standards and original compositions. The three members met through their studies at the Jazzcampus, Basel, and have been playing together in various projects for since 2017. This trio explores the classic piano trio format, and explores different moods from intimate ballads to straight-ahead, swinging blues and bebop. The original compositions are contributed by all the members, and each brings their own musical approach to the repertoire.
